This Privacy Policy describes how Sperova LLC (the "Company") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information through the Chaosometer platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
The Company collects your email address and display name when you create an account through Clerk via email or Google OAuth. Payment information, including credit card details, is collected and processed exclusively by Stripe. The Company does not store, access, or retain credit card numbers or banking credentials. The Service records the tickers you analyze, the scores computed, and associated timestamps in order to provide score history and portfolio management features.
The Company does not collect browsing history, IP-based geolocation, device fingerprints, or behavioral tracking data. The Company does not use advertising pixels, analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking technologies.
Personal information is used to authenticate your account, process subscription payments, deliver analysis results, and maintain your score history and client portfolios. The Company may use your email address to respond to support requests submitted to [email protected]. The Company does not send unsolicited marketing communications.
The Service relies on third-party providers to deliver core functionality. Clerk provides authentication services and is subject to its own privacy policy at clerk.com/privacy. Stripe processes payments and is subject to its privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. Yahoo Finance and Polygon.io supply market data. No personal information is transmitted to these data providers. Railway provides hosting infrastructure and is subject to its privacy policy at railway.app/legal/privacy.
Account data is retained for the duration of your active account. Score history is retained indefinitely to support trend analysis and portfolio diagnostics. Upon account deletion, personally identifiable information, including your email address and display name, will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized and aggregated score data may be retained for statistical purposes.
All connections to the Service are encrypted via TLS. Authentication is managed by Clerk using industry-standard protocols. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which maintains PCI DSS Level 1 certification. The application database is access-controlled and is not publicly accessible.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. The Company will respond to verified requests within 30 days. If you are located in a jurisdiction that provides additional data protection rights, including the right to data portability or the right to restrict processing, the Company will honor those rights to the extent required by applicable law.
Clerk may set session cookies strictly for authentication purposes. The Service does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any form of persistent tracking cookies.
The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe that a minor has provided personal information to the Company, please contact [email protected] and the information will be deleted promptly.
The Company reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service interface at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
